Senior Platform Engineer

Own the systems that hold up everything else: API, real-time co-edit, exports, billing. You'll work with the founders on the next phase of The Color Tools — Supabase + Vercel + Yjs + Stripe + a small fleet of background workers.
What you'll do
- Design and ship the public REST API and SDKs
- Own the export pipeline (PDF, ASE, ACO, GPL, design tokens)
- Build the real-time collaboration layer on Yjs
- Mentor the next platform engineers we hire
What you bring
- 7+ years building production backend systems
- Strong opinions about TypeScript, Postgres, and observability
- Comfortable with both the API design questions and the deploy-at-3am questions
- Track record of reducing complexity, not adding it

- Worked on real-time collaboration (Yjs / Liveblocks / Convex)
- Built a public API with SDKs in multiple languages
- Color-science familiarity
