The Color Tools is built for designers — and that includes designers and clients with disabilities. We commit to WCAG 2.2 AA across our public surfaces. When we fall short, we want to know.
Our standard
We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an accessibility target for the marketing site, tools, dashboard, and account area. APCA is an additional contrast reference, not a WCAG conformance result. The W3C WCAG 3.0 draft remains under development and has not selected a contrast algorithm.
Built-in accessibility tools
The Color Tools itself ships a WCAG + APCA contrast checker and a color blindness simulator — both free, no signup. Brand teams use them to validate palettes before production.
Known gaps
Our community gallery (Phase 3) and admin console are not yet keyboard-navigation-complete. Both will be audited and remediated before public launch.

If something on The Color Tools doesn't work for you, please email accessibility@thecolortools.com. We aim to respond within two business days.
Third-party content
Some embedded resources (videos, third-party widgets) may not meet WCAG AA. Where possible, we caption and provide accessible alternatives.
