Psychology
White feels spacious, clean, and uncluttered — but never quite empty. It's the color of clarity, simplicity, and new beginnings.
Meaning
Purity, peace, and minimalism in Western design; mourning and reverence in parts of East Asia.
Applications
The default canvas for most apps, editorial layouts, and packaging. Use a slightly off-white instead of pure #FFFFFF to reduce eye strain.
