CMYK to RGB converts print percentages into the red, green and blue values a screen shows, so a color from a printed piece or a print file can be reused on the web, with a HEX code included.
The plain formula inverts each ink channel and applies the black percentage. That is fine for approximations, but a real CMYK file carries an ICC profile that describes how the ink actually looks; so the RGB that matches a printed result can differ from this theoretical one. The RGB and HEX can go into a website, a presentation or a social template.
Enter the four percentages. RGB, HEX and HSL are returned together.
The formula gives rgb(0, 0, 0), but printed 100 percent black ink measures closer to rgb(35, 31, 32) on coated stock. Rich black (60 40 40 100) gets nearer to true black on press.
